Please take some time to read some important information regarding your booking at Bloomings.

Booking / Payments

Bookings are taken online at the time of booking your space via our website:

Once full payment has been made, an email booking confirmation confirming your place will be automatically emailed to you, please check your junk mail, any hesitation please contact me via bloomingsbabyandme@gmail.com

It is your responsibility to check the term dates and times have been correctly selected. Should there be an error, please inform me immediately so these can be rectified whilst the space on the term remains available. If you do accidentally book onto the wrong class, please contact me immediately so I can see if I can transfer you before the spaces are booked.

Holidays, sickness and non attendance

Regrettably, I cannot offer discounts or refunds for missed classes due to booked holidays that fall inside our term dates, or non-attendance due to illness or other reasons. I advise babies and parents stay at home if they have a serious infection and to inform me, so I can inform other parents if need be.

Please stay at home if your child / you have any of the following:

  • Has had an upset stomach, sickness or Diarrhea. Please do not return until 48 hours after the last episode

  • Ha had a high fever alongside ‘poorly’ symptoms in the previous 24 hours

  • Has heavy, green, nasal discharge

  • Has conjunctivitis / discharge from their eyes

  •

As well as any of the following infections:

  • Measles

  • Hand, foot, and mouth disease

  • Norovirus

  • Covid 19

  • Chicken pox

  • German measles

  • Whooping cough

  • Impetigo

  • Scarlett fever

Any classes you cannot attend, you may gift your space to a friend, if so please inform me immediately so I can add their details.

Cancellation of Classes

In extreme cases your class may be cancelled for reasons that are out of my control. In all cases, I will do my best to inform you as soon as possible. I will update this via Instagram and Facebook followed by an email. If your class is cancelled an additional lesson may be offered at the end of term, depending on availability on the venue. If you cannot attend the offered session please inform me within 3 days. If the venue is not available, a refund will be offered.

Supervision in class

These are parent and baby classes. Therefore all babies must be supervised by the attending adult and must not be left unattended. I must not be asked to take responsibility for a baby at any time. Unfortunately, older siblings are not able to attend the classes. This is due to health and safety, also insurance policies.

National Lockdown

Should there be a local or national lockdown and classes need to be put on hold, any classes still outstanding will be automatically rolled on to the next term once we are able top reopen face to face classes. Your place will be held, and you will be given a priority place once we reopen for a new term. If you are unable to attend, you may choose one of the following options:

  • Gift your space

  • Receive a gift voucher to use on another term. This voucher is only valid for 3 months.

  •

We hope that you can choose from one of the above options, we do however realise this may not always be possible, please see your rights regarding refunds below.

Your rights

You may exercise your right to a refund when classes are paused, and you are not able to attend the new dates offered. Please email us directly within 7 days of the pre-booked class: bloomingsbabyandme@gmail.com

Whilst we hope you love our classes as much as we do, should you book a term, and following your first class – you decide it is not for you, then you may choose to cancel your term and request a refund within 24 hours of attending your first class. A refund will be made, minus the first attended class plus admin fees of up to the cost of 1 class. Please email us at: bloomingsbabyandme@gmail.com to discuss.

Temporary Class changes

All venues used for Bloomings classes have been risk assessed and will follow their COVID 19 policies and procedures alongside our own.

During our continuing risk assessments, and to ensure we comply with any guidance and legislation changes it may become necessary for us to implement changes that are different to a typical class offered by Bloomings. Any disruption to the normal classes will always be minimal and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during any such times.

New term bookings

No later than 2 weeks your current term ends, an email will be sent out informing you of the rebooking process, priority booking, term dates and times, payment terms and the links you will need to secure your space. Payment is taken at the time of booking via our online booking system. Even in the Priority Booking period that is offered to all families attending the current term, places remain on a first come first served basis.

Our commitment to Equal Opportunities

At Bloomings we are committed to ensuring that all equipment and activities are of value and worth to everyone regardless of race, culture, language, gender, age, experience, religion, beliefs, background, ability, or disability.

Data Protection

The information on any booking form contains personal data that will be kept secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Any information given to us through our online forms will not be passed onto a third party.

We know taking photos and videos capture memories that you can treasure so please feel at liberty to take as many as you’d like during your term. Please do not share any photos online that show the faces of other children and adults without prior permission.

Protection of Property

Please note that your property left in prams or bags is your responsibility and not the responsibility of Bloomings or the venue. Any items left at the venues will be collected by me and brought back to class the following week.

Health & Safety and Hygiene Policies

At Bloomings we carry out rigorous checks before every class at each venue to ensure that all areas, including the bathrooms are clean and safe, and risk assessments are completed.

As part of our mission to keep our play space as clean and hygienic for the babies attending our classes, we kindly ask all parents and carers to remove their shoes while in class before stepping onto the mats, and for all snacks to be offered away from this area to avoid any babies with allergies consuming dangerous foods.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions may need to be updated for, time to time. Should this occur, we will inform you of any changes via email. You will have 14 days to opt out of these changes and notify us in writing. We shall assume that the new terms have been agreed to if we do not hear from you within 14 days.
